Tim is right,

All 1400, 5300, 2300 did have 64 bit processor bus, but anything else is 32
bit. In order to fully utilized the 64 bit processor, it must access the
data twice from the system bus (it's on my NewerTech NU Power1400/233
Manual, normally I don't know this sort of thing :)

This is the reason why 1400, 2300, and 5300 is slow compared mac system with
64 bit bus. The 3400c/180 is about 2 times faster than 1400/166MHz.
