due to the rash of, and recurrences of, GV problems with the combo card, i'm strongly considering purchasing separate cards for each function. what i really need is ethernet for now, so that's a priority for purchase. the modem is not too relevant. i know some people swear by the tdk ethernet cards; has anyone had one working with os 9? or the modem cards? i know a lot of modem cards will work without drivers, but which one. i'm attracted by the 3com units, (which one's work with the mac os w/o drivers) as the thought of having to carry 2 dongles bothers me. (yes, i know some people who have broken the popup (x-jack), but i like this functionality. thoughts, opinions, and suggestions? thanks, jack ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!
