I had a PowerBook 2400c (actually i still have it) that died, and Apple
quoted me $1600 for a new logic board. I told them they were ridiculous,
and then I contacted MCE who fixed my 2400 for $350.

I'm very disappointed in hearing of all of the 2400s that are dying. I
wonder if mine will again, and its making me wonder whether or not i want
my 2400 to ocme to college with me, or if i'll just sell it for a desktop
mac. DO you think maybe its some kind of engineering flaw and its Apple's
fault? I would NOt be a happy camper if my 2400 died again.
