My one battery just totally stopped working. I have no clue what's
wrong but it will NOT charge. The other one still does though.

I know. I'm thinking mine will end up dying again sometime, because
these machines seem rather fragile. I LOVE the 2400c, but it just
doesn't seem as rugged as other PowerBooks. (I used to own a
PowerBook 150.) I dont throw my PowerBook around or abuse it but it
seems like if it ever fell to the ground, like my 150 did once, it'd
shatter.

My plan for college is going to involve keeping my 2400c and using it,
and also picking up a second PowerBook..like maybe one of those cheap,
ugly 5300 machines, or a Duo 2300c, and have it around in case my 2400
dies so i have something to use.

The 2400c IS the computer best suited for my needs, but its just a
shame that they all seem to be dying now. Apple needs to make an
updated version of this machine. (I'd suggest 2500c.. but with the
way apple names everything G3 or G4 now, it'd SHOULD be called
"PowerBook Duo G3" hehe.)
