I am not referring to the modem with respect to the comm slot I mention. It is
a separate slot and perhaps I am wrong for calling it a comm slot as it boils
down to a dedicated ethernet port. Better than taking up a Nubus slot with an
ethernet card. However, probably much harder to find at this point. Speaking of
hard to find, 100BT Nubus cards can likely be found on eBay. However, the new
10/100 Nubus cards I researched a while back seemed to indicate that they could
not actually achieve anything close to 100 (more like 33), so I passed and
stuck with the dock's built-in 10BT. I did not read the article, but I would
assume if Nubus could handle real 100BT, then modern versions of this
technology should be able to as well, perhaps better (why limit it 5 years
later?).
