After years of being caught in the upgrade vortex, I have switched
completely to apple drivers for my HD's. The new Apple Drive utilities will
format non-apple drives. Soemtimes it is a little difficult to get rid of
the old driver, and you may need to wipe the drive completely, but IMHO it
is worth it.I can now use the latest, free Apple utility.
