Hello,
You might need an updater to the Global Village software. I think it
was necessary for PowerBook 5xx's with the PPC upgrade, so that
software might be needed on the PPC Duo too.
Also, maybe your modem isn't a Global Village? 2300c's also came
with Apple Express modems.
I'm no 2300c expert, but I hope I helped! :-)
