Jon that is why the list is here .... so as to share knowledge : ). could it be that you don't have the phone jack installed on the dock .. it should be in the right hand corner of the dock all by itself . At least that is where mine is . my friend uses silver lining and he constantly has probs with his computers .. may not be silver lining but ??? Can you just initialise the drive and install an Apple driver , be sure to copy important stuff first though !
