I think he meant to type "$250"!
Hi! I've had my powerbook for about a year now and have had no problems. I
would use OS9 but my modem software doesn't not currently play well with
it. Otherwise it was no problem. (And I haven't checked recently for
updated drivers either.) I have 80 mb of ram and the factory hard drive. I
especially like how I can use the docking adapter to connect it to my
machine at work as an external hard drive. It makes it easy to transfer
files. I'm using the PCMCIA Fax/Modem from Global Village and it works fine.
I found mine screening the ads for refurbished units in the back of
Macworld and MacAddict magazines.
Overall, I really love this 'book. It's fast enough and small enough for
everything I do.
