More or less my experience. A fine machine which is fast enough for 
routine work and programing.
I've owned 17 and 20 inch monitors but now find the 800 x 600 screen 
quite adequate.

However, I understand the 2400c was manufactured by IBM not Apple. 
Frankly I'm inclined to think this is the reason we all like it so 
much.
