Had commented earlier on what the Pismo was thought to be (i.e., 2400
replacement):

Ended up having to get a ThinkPad 240 for travel (2.9 lbs), as the Duo 2300
died (tho now resurrected). Nice machine, but crashs multiple times a day
while on the 'Net or in Office (big surprise, eh??). Before I bought it I
looked at the Pismo but it is too large to fit into my travel briefcase (and
not mentioning the weight!). So, before I purchased it, I emailed Apple
PLEADING for some reason not to go to the dark side. No answer (big
surprise). Hated to do it, but......IBM!!!! Stick a G3 chip into that thing
and get Apple to brand it!!! Apple PowerBook 240, eh?? Only negative is no
internal CD! Come on Apple, give us an ultralite unit!!
