I have worked on several Macs before and I'm telling you, working on the 2400 is quite 
different. You literally have to take the whole thing apart to get to the processor or 
the HD. I mean, the screen, the backbone (or whatever that metal thing is called in 
the back), the power supply card, dozens of little screws and metal thingies, are all 
out. But it is certainly fun. get a bunch of different size containers, label them, 
and write down what you put where then you should be OK.

Newer has a great disassembly manual for those who put in the G3 upgrade card 
themselves. I have it in pdf format and if you want it I can email it to you.
