Larry, that is OK if your paddles are connected to an external keyer. The LPT output should go to a manual key input, i.e. you can't attach that to a paddle input to an internal keyer. I've seen a lot of people use a Y connector from their rig's mono key input, one side to their computer and the other side to the output of an external keyer. GL - 73 John, WA9ALS
