Just curious about your beacon comment... since there are times when the
only signals on 6m are beacons, why wouldn't you want to know?

Of course, spotting beacons when the band is wide open is just poor judgment
on the spotter's part.

         One other thing, as long as we're talking about these types 
of spots. I've got a feature request: I'd like to have it so that 
"beacon" spots (optionally) aren't announced.  It's pretty common to 
see stuff like:

DX de VE7SKA:    50068.0  W7RV/B       CN88GT<ES>DM35                 1654Z

         and while it's sometimes good to know, personally I don't 
find it all that useful to "hear" the beacon spots.

         As far as I can figure out, this can't be done currently by 
tweaking the spot patterns, but please let me know if I'm wrong.
