Dave NR1DX: In the File > Preferences > CW window I simply have Device Type: WinKey and External keyer Port: Com 10 (yours is Com 2) all the others have None.
Now here is the other main part: Alt-K brings up the keyer window in DX4WIN. Then right-click on that window and bring up the Settings for the WinKey itself. Here is what I have: Keyer Mode: Iambic A Pin 5 Config: 5=PTT Priority: Normal Hang Time: 1:00 There are other Mode Register settings below that but those are for the spacing and weight etc. Once everything is running you can either use the knob on the WinKey itself to change the speed or Alt-F9 and Alt-F10 on the keyboard. Mine works fine here. Winkey works just fine in stand alone with the demo program and also with N1MM+ contest logger but I cant seem to find the secret phrase to get it to talk to DX4WIN.
