Dave
There appears to be a slight difference in the Registry under XP and Win98.
If you follow the Registry listings in the DXBase Help file, everything goes
correctly up to Services, I find no Key for VXD. There is a key for DriverX
which has two subs, Enum and Parameters.
It's under the Parameters that the comports are listed.
Another funny thing is that even though we are in Version DXB2002 the
listings still have DXB98.
But that is of no import.

Under DXB98 Com5 I have a I/O PortBase of dc00
Under DXB98 Com6 I have a I/O PortBase of da00

This agrees with the Resource settings for my SIIG dual Com port PCI card
settings in System/Hardware/Ports.

For most systems, the various cards installed will vary slightly as to what
irq and I/O addresses are assigned to it.
DXBase has it's basic addresses which may have to be changed to those
assigned by Windows.

But sometimes, I've found from offering help to others that even though all
these settings agree, the darn thing just won't work.
I wish I could offer more help. But I've run out of suggestions.
Please let me and the reflector know if you achieve success.
