Well, I upgraded from winME to WinXP from a machine that had DXBASE 2002 installed on it. Everything worked until I tried to talk to my rotator.
It doesn't work. I did a little investigation and it appears that the reg entries are not there for the "driverX/..." branch. I'd prefer not to have to reinstall if possible. Could someone export that branch to a file and email it to me so that I can import it into my reg. I can probably create the necessary portnames, etc, but I don't have any idea what the keys need to be created as. Or, can I just reinstall? Will it keep my old settings? And fix this problem? Thanks in advance. Alan Ps. Please oh, please oh, please, put higher baud rate in 2003 for radio and other control. 9600 make me adjust my radio everytime I want to talk to it with dxbase after having talked to it with the kenwood software. It's a TS2000 that support 57k6.
