For the record. I upgraded an ME machine that had the original installation of DXB2002. When I did that it deleted the DriverX branch that DXBASE requires for driver support of rotators, etc. Don't know what else was deleted, but at least that much was. DXB2002 runs fine btw, even without those entries, just the rotator won't be controlled.
Oh, well, I'll play with some manual entries first and then re-install. I was hopping someone would export me their branch and send it to me in email so I could figure out the exact attributes. While there is some documentation, it didn't say to create a "string", binary, or dword type registry entry :( Alan -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, February 04, 2002 8:11 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [DXBase] DXBASE 2002 with windows xp - need some help please Alan The drivers are there but in a slightly different place. Find Services in Regedit then you will find DriverX as a subfolder. DriverX has two subfolders. Lokk in Parameters and you will bind the list of Comm Ports. I changed mine and after ensuring the Port speeds where set correctly allworked well. Good luck Dave (G3SBP)
