Yes
Under xp there is a change.
You may have to reinstall DXB
I did.
But first, go to the help file. Select cw interface and then windows
Registry entries.
There are two sets, select the WinNt set and you will that under DriverX
there is a key for Parameters.
That is where the com port should be listed.

But the install can be painless.
Save your log.mdb, refdata, any labels you may have changed and most
important, the DXBase.ini file with is in Windows dir, to a safe place.
Reinstall into the SAME directory as you had before.
Then copy the previously saved file back and you will be in business.
Then you can check in system for the new I/O addresses and make sure they
are now correct in the registry.

I had EXACTLY the same situation and it works perfectly now.
