This is very easy. Enter K1B into the callsign field. hit ENTER. now select the Prefix field. Click on the Prefix field and a drop down list of entities will appear. You should be seeing that it has defaulted to K, United States. But look 4 entries down and you will see KH1 - Baker-Howland Isl. select that entry Now hit F10 and a window will appear asking if you wish to map this callsign to this prefix. Answer Yes.
Now if you haven't as yet worked the K1B station, just delete the qso line from your log. DXB will remember the mapping you just made. The other way is to go to Tools, Database Access, Countries and select the Alias tab and enter the info manually. The first set of instructions are easier and less chance for making a mistake. GL working them... And remember qsl info is RZ3AA for SSB contacts. All other modes go to YT1AD. Check their site for latest address info. http://www.kragujevac.co.yu/kh1/ ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tom" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "FireBrick" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; "k7hph" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, April 28, 2002 8:27 AM Subject: [DXBase] Changes needed for K1B to show as Baker Is and NOT USA ??? > Hi to all: > > The DXpedition on Baker island (KH1) is using the call K1B, which DXbase classifies as a US DX > entity rather than Baker-Howland Islands. > > What needs to be changed in DXbase so that it will classify K1B as Baker-Howland Islands.
