Sandy wins the Cigar. I was misinterpreting the arrangement. I thought DXBase was reporting the SPath heading and it's distance in Kilometers and the LPath heading and it's distance in Miles...
That's why the Kilometers converted to almost exactly the same distance as the miles. DXBase in it's infinite wisdom was giving the distance in both units. It's tough to grow old AND stupid.... I should have noticed that years ago....
