While we're on the subject of DXbase oddities, here's another: I ran a DXCC award submission list with a check in "Select QSO's from QSO log--Cards only" plus "Exclude past submissions". The list of confirmed contacts included those not previously submitted which I have recorded as "Card" in the "CFM" column. But it also contained some contacts which were recorded as "Both". Then I ran a list after checking "QSO log--Both", expecting to see contacts that I had recorded as having QSL'd via both card and LoTW. I got the expected larger list, but some contacts recorded as "Both" were NOT on the new list, and the "Both" list contains unsubmitted contacts that are recorded as "LoTW" only but not "Both". It looks as if choosing the "Both" selection lists contacts that are "Card" or "LoTW", but definitely not "Both"!
Sorry if this has been visited before on the reflector. I vaguely recall a related thread shortly after LoTW went live. Maybe the trouble is the operator--please advise. George W1EBI
