OK, I'll accept that "Both" for the DXCC award list is not the same as
the "Both" in the CFM column.  But I still don't understand, if what you
say is correct (and it almost always is...), why some records that are
in the CFM column as "Card", meaning I have only a card QSL, not LoTW,
do NOT appear when I do a "Both" list.  If there is a card, should that
QSO not appear on the list when run as "Card" as well as "Both"?

When I do a DXCC Award output -- I can see that the meaning
of BOTH  is "not" the CFM colmn's Both -- but indicates
that you are asking to use both the Card and also the LoTW ..
NOT  the Both from the Confirmed column of our logbook..

When I do a card only MIXED - I get a count of 274 -- when
I do a Both -- I get 275 -- the extra ONE QSO is the YV0D
(which right now is only confirmed via LoTW) ..
