George, I think that I can give you a bit more info on what we are seeing.. I still had a copy of your own mdb file from Jan 2004 that you had sent to me .. I imported that into DXbase2005 and did all the normal stuff we have to do - then I went into the Award DXCC area and checkmarked Mixed and Exclude Past Submissions -- and Radio buttoned QSO Log and Cards only ... Remembering that this is your logbook from 1 years ago -- I got 24 QSO's selected ...
Then I went back into the Award DXCC area again and this time Radio buttoned Both .... I got 26 QSO's this time ... I did a screen capture of both Previews of the DXCC form and what I saw as the "extra" 2 qso's picked up when I did the Both -- were correct .. then I looked for any QSO that was there when I did Card only - BUT, a different Callsign might have been selected when I did Both -- YEP!! When I did Cards only -- the "selection logic that Jack uses" picked CT9L USB Mode -- when I did the Both -- the "selection logic" picked CT3EE CW Mode .. So, from what I am seeing - when comparing both outputs -- the answer to your question George would have to be: No, not necessarily are you going to see the SAME Callsign/QSO used in the DXCC Award Reports.. BUT, YES - the SAME entity/country will be shown .. just not necessarily "using" the same QSL method listing (Card versus LoTW QSO).. I hope that this helps George! 73 Joe wa6axe George Harlem W1EBI wrote: > OK, I'll accept that "Both" for the DXCC award list is not the same as > the "Both" in the CFM column.
