I have a two rotor setup, using a Yaesu G-2800DXA for rotor 1 and a Yaesu G-800XA for rotor 2. Both rotors are computer interfaced using Idom Press controller boards. I use a Byterunner USB to serial port computer interface to obtain the necessary number of serial ports.
Computer control of rotor 1 via DXBase always works flawlessly. My problem is with rotor 2. When I first set up rotor 2 in user options, it too works flawlessly as long as I don't use rotor 1. After the first time I control rotor 1 through DXBase, rotor 2 will no longer function through the DXBase interface. If I then deactivate rotor 2 in DXBase user options, close user options, reopen user options and then reactivate rotor 2, it will once again function flawlessly - but only until I use rotor 1 again. Then rotor 2 is non functional. Any ideas of what my problem might be? Thank you, Ken W8LU
