I also have a 64 bit Win 7 machine, and went through the steps to active
the help files. My machine automatically updates windows when ever
there is an update. I have no trouble opening the help files from the
DXBase menu.

on either computer and I get an error message "Failed to launch help".
Then the "Windows Help and Support screen comes up on either one.
