I think one of the best arguments, (maybe the only argument against
implementing a non-invasive pay-for-spam function), is that e-gold, in the
past, has had problems dealing with large increases in payment volume. Until
they implement a system whereby all account holders are divided amongst
several databases, and all transactions are distributed accordingly, then
such a spam-oriented system might overload the e-gold servers. This is the
fundamental reason that I see AGAINST implementing such a non-invasive idea.
