I am looking for a flash utility (and probably some information on usage)
that can flash the EEPROM. I am also interested in what is stored on the
EEPROM, is it possible to flash a new version of firmware onto the cards or
is it used just for PXE/iSCSI boot info? We are working on tools to flash
BIOS, update firmware on RAID controllers, etc. I was not able to find any
firmware updates for the PRO/1000 ethernet cards on Intel's website but
someone on my team swears they exist.
