Is that RedHats opinion or do you say that in general? If there will ever
be a dream of rebuilding Eclipse from the ground then IMHO E4 is a very
solid starting point. Isn't making statements about its profitability a
self-fulfilling prophecy.

Extension points FTW. E4 can also use them. It makes me wonder what exactly
is the IDE? What can be stripped before it loses that title?
