what's strange is that blino found where, as the driver included in
Mdk10.2 LE2005 correctly displays it :?

I think that EAGLEUSBVERSION variable is used in the driver to store the actual 
value, but some way or another, it does not get through at compilation time :-(
maybe in the Makefile-2.6 (compare to Makefile-2.4) but that does not
seem suficient...

then we'll use 4.0.0 ;-) come on, that's only a number.
For me it corresponds to the switch from not-by-default-CMV to full CMV,
when 2.0.0 was "only" for newer DSPcode and first try with CMV
(optional). Furthermore, that will be a good purpose to ask translators
to do their work (thanks in advance).
