Maybe one tool is suficient ? There may be as many options for launching it as we want ;-) > In adsl_consts.pm: Telecom Italia and Alice is the same thing? I do not remember... maybe if they have the same DNS, or one was the ISP and the other the offer (as Alice exists in France too) > adsl_consts.pm is not good for debian tools > because debian templates may be written in ASCII (not é ö Ã ...) As I told you, use the id field in this case : it should not be necessary to translate the offer, only the country and there may already exist a magical function translate_country() (like Mandriva^W Mdk's one : N() ) there's only to find a way to concat the result > Some keys are encoded in UTF-8 or ISO-8859-1. For example, it may as been named "tools" if I put there isp_adsl_db.pl that has nearly nothing to do in util/scripts/ in fact. for rpm, we can do a directory rpm, no problem... I just don't know if eagle-usb.spec is the same for all distribs ? changes may be suficiently minors. Ah I forgot : we may include as well GnEagle too, maybe with eagleconnect in a "gui" directory... Any feedback on it ? BTW, I've got a strange bug compiling current cvs version : the variable EAGLEUSBVERSION is alway set to 2, I could not find the reason why :-( (I launched make clean ; ./autogen.sh ; ./configure --enable-cmvs) I thought that the file VERSION was used ?! @++ Ben'. aka baud123
