Hi Ravi,
It probably won't be this, but...when I was having the same issue you
were, I installed EchoVNC 1.4 to see it would solve it. However, I found
if I didn't shut down the RealVNC server first (if it already had problems
with EchoVNC), the fix didn't "take."
So, to make it work I had to (for all intense purposes):
1) Shut down EchoVNC
2) Shut down RealVNC (or UltraVNC in your case)
3) Install EchoVNC 1.4
4) Start RealVNC
5) Start EchoVNC
Since then I haven't run into the problem you are having...
Take care,
Alan

Hmmm. Did you configure your UltraVNC server to accept connections
from the loopback interface? I think UltraVNC used to have that turned
off
by default (RealVNC has it turned on by default now).

But, I am using UltraVNC in this context, not RealVNC. Will it still
solve my problem ?

Ravi:
There's a minor incompatibility with prior versions of EchoVNC and
RealVNC servers which causes periodic "connection closed unexpectedly"
errors. We've fixed that in the 1.40 release which you can get here:
ftp://ftp.echogent.com/EchoVNC/EchoVNC_1.40a_Setup.exe
Please let me know if that helps fix your troubles!

If i click yes this is what i get
Unknown 3.3 security type
Do you wish to attempt to reconnect to 127.0.0.1:3401?
Do i need anything to be changed. I am using trial vesion of
Echoserver for windows version 1.40 from Kagi, because i am unable to
connect to demo server.
Please help. Thanks in advance.
