Ravi:

Thanks for the details! That helps a lot. Some questions
and suggestions:

1. In step #3, you "connect via echoserver" using the Partner-ID
string of "Host1.no-ip.info". That's not really necessary; the
Partner-ID is usually much simpler. In EchoVNC on the PC at
"HOST1.no-ip.info", what is the username it says that you're
"connected as" with the echoServer? *That* is the Partner-ID
you should use when connecting to that machine; you don't
need to use it's IP address or the no-ip.info address. You
only need to know its "username", aka it's "Partner-ID".

2. Below you say "when i use some static IP's for the same network
where the above systems reside it is giving me UltraVNC unknown
Authentication Scheme error". Let's try this then:

2.1 Startup the UltraVNC Viewer on your 192.168.0.x LAN
2.2 Connect to a PC on the remote LAN at "Host1.no-ip.info".

What error message do you see? Also, *exactly* what version
of UltraVNC Server are you running on the "Host1.no-ip.info" PC?

thanks,
Scott

The solution which you have provided is working with internal IP's(LAN)
but not with external IP's. I am able to connect with echoVNC to
directly connect with LAN address like 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.0.2. But
when i use some static IP's for the same network where the above systems reside it is giving me UltraVNC unknown Authentication Scheme error. I have no-ip.info installed on these computers. Is this causing any problem here.

This is the detailed explanation of what i am doing :

1. Host with HOST1.no-ip.info and the echoVNC installed and i am able to see this connected to echoserver. It is a Windows XP pro machine. 2. At my system (viewer side) installed echoVNC and connected to the same echoserver where the host is connected to. 3. From my system (viewer side) through internet using echoVNC i am trying to connect by using "connect via echoserver" to Host1.no-ip.info. a. I have changed the default veiwer of EchoVNC viewer to UltraVNC viewer, so it is opening up UltraVNC viewer
       b. Shows "connecting ...."
       c. Password requested.
       d. and ending up with a messagebox "Unknown Authentication Scheme !"

What's wrong here ?
