I'm not running echo server on the xp2k3 box. I'm running echo server 1.41 on my home xp box. And I'm at the xp box trying to connect to the 2k3server which has echovnc running.
I recently tried to connect to another 2k3server in a different location, and I get the same problem, it drops right after it says connecting. The echoserver log shows "no data" twice, the echoserver shows an open relay for the connection attempt, and a few minutes later I get the error box (not verbatim) do you want to reconnect to 127.0.0.1:xxxx ? I'll try 1.2pre02 and see what happens. -----Original Message----- From: Scott Best [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Saturday, January 28, 2006 11:04 AM To: Alexander Alekseev Cc: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Echovnc-users] Echovnc on Windows Server 2003 Alex: Just to confirm: you get to the VNC password prompt, and after you connect, the session immediately drops, correct? If so, exactly what flavor of VNC Server are you running on the remote 2k3 server? thanks, Scott On Jan 27, 2006, at 5:38 PM, Alexander Alekseev wrote: > Using echovnc on remote 2k3 server, echoserver 1.40 on local, > echovnc viewer > on local. > > When I connect to the remote 2k3 server, screen blinks the vnc > viewer and > disappears. > > Here are my logs: > > Echovnc proxy log on w2k3 server: <snip> ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
