Scott, I just wanted to know if you had a thought about the comments (posts
of 26th and 29th of July) I've had regarding the latest UltraVNC.

Espcially this:

"Another thing - I'm a fan of hiding the VNC trayicon but if I do that I
can't access the EchoServer properties. That's the only way to access it
right? It would be nice with a link in UltraVNC menu (in the start menu) or
something!"

And this:

"I'm experiencing that it's very seldom that the EchoServer within UltraVNC
acutally connects when Windows starts. Most of the time I have to do this
manually."

Thanks!

Jimmy

Hey Scott!

I'm not sure if you're following me so I'll try to explain it the best I
can. :o)

If I use UltraVNC and connect to a computer through echoServer and then
save that connection as a .vnc file I can't use it for future connections.

E.g. when connected to the computer when saving the .vnc file it will hold
the present connection info like 127.0.0.1 port 2392. But that address
can't be used later on as it's a new address.

Another thing - I'm a fan of hiding the VNC trayicon but if I do that I
can't access the EchoServer properties. That's the only way to access it
right? It would be nice with a link in UltraVNC menu (in the start menu) or
something!

OK, keep up the great work!

Jimmy

Jimmy:

Heya. The latest release of the Viewer does use .VNC files. :)

There's a new
[echoServer] section in there...
