Heyaz. I appreciate the patience a lot of EchoVNC users have
demonstrated while waiting for this one:ftp://ftp.echogent.com/EchoVNC/TightVNC_1.3dev5-ew.zip It's the 1.3dev5 version of TightVNC with echoWare directly built in. It should look and feel exactly like a normal VNC server, with the addition of an "EchoServer" tab in the Properties menu. And yes, this one can be registered as a standard Windows service, so you can make echoServer'd VNC connections even through a Windows reboot sequence. The TightVNC team is eager to hear about how well echoWare connections work with their server. So please try: 1. Installing the standard TightVNC 1.3 release from: http://prdownloads.sf.net/vnc-tight/tightvnc-1.3dev7-setup.exe?download 2. Unzip the TightVNC_1.3dev5-ew.zip archive, and overwrite the TightVNC files with these new ones. 3. Test away. :) Looking forward to any feedback; thanks! -Scott ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: Power Architecture Resource Center: Free content, downloads, discussions, and more. http://solutions.newsforge.com/ibmarch.tmpl _______________________________________________ Echovnc-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/echovnc-users
