I would say that "men are the enemy" is an accurate enough way to
capture the fact that militarism, capitalism, communism, racism,
sexism (including rape, prostitution, pornography, incest, battery,
etc.), heterosexism, and anthropocentrism (including factory farming,
vivisection, hunting, pollution, massive deforestation and
despeciation, etc.) were all conceived, instantiated and developed
under systems of male dominance, and many of these horrors were/are in
fact perpetrated in order to preserve male dominance.
