Anne - why do you have to be so insulting. I have no problems with what
Brian is saying about what a male-person is expected to do to be considered
a 'real man' (let me give you one example of many - a state politician in
Australia recently decried a political opponent, not in terms of his
policies etc, but because, apparently, we couldn't trust a man who hadn't
married and procreated). If a 'male-person' refuses to fight etc, then
much of society does determine that that person is somehow not a
'real-man'. I'm pleased that there are people who are not 'true men' but
that doesn't mean that they are women (that would mean changing biology and
few people actually choose to do that), it means that they're rejecting
masculinism (and also, perhaps, what is thought to be the hallmark of
feminine?), and are therefore part of the emancipation and transformation.
Brian seems fine to me.
