If you can't feel the sacredness of the earth than you truly are missing out &
it would explain alot. I feel it every day in many different ways the earth
is just as divine & living & breathing as we humans are. the earth definitly
has a spirit unto it's own. the sun of course is the earth's consort. But
this gets into many different pantheons of what assorted pagans believe. Some
consider the sun a god some don't & the moon likewise. I consider it all
sacred with various dieties assigned to it for various purposes. Yes the
universe also has a spirit. & this very much is reality for me & I can assure
you my reality is considerably more realistic than many of those I've met over
the years! my beliefs don't include automatic forgiveness of 'sins' by some
omniscient skygod whom I may never meet or know. No instead if you do
something wrong & don't make amends for it & change you ways to make sure it
doesn't happen again the penalties are paid in this life, not after your dead.
& there is only forgiveness if it doesn't continue to happen. If seen this
same divine law happen to none pagans as well. & not when the were
necccesarily doing things that were illegal & therefore prosecuted by our
society. More religions than not have considered the earth a sacred goddess
usually a mother creatrix, that alone should tell you something.
