Another question to ponder:

Are all women oppressed? Even those who do not believe to be
oppressed? I live a full, college student, average life and think
that at this point in time I am not oppressed in any way. I have the
job I want, the classes I want, the roommates I want, the house I
want, etc... Does this mean I am just kidding myself to believe I am
not oppressed? Just curious, no comments will be taken personally on
my part. I was told in my Women's Studies class that I was just
ignoring my oppressions but when I asked what oppressions I was
ignoring I received no answer. Of course I know that there are
oppressions out there but I don't feel that I am going through any of
them right now. Not to say I never will. How are some of you
oppressed? I am asking to have a better understanding about
different oppressions that occur in other people's daily lives.

Love, Teri
