A Ph.D. assistantship for fall 2014 is available in the Dept. of Horticulture at Virginia Tech in the field of Sustainable Food Systems. Areas of interest may include: climate change, organic agriculture, land-use change, ecosystem services, and local food systems.
I am looking for a self-motivated student who is comfortable working independently and would like to design their own research program. M.S. preferred. Excellent GRE and GPA scores, and interest in agriculture and interdisciplinary research required.
