Dear Lawrence,

Your email peaked my interest/curiosity so I went ahead and googled the terms
and found out that they are TMarked by UToronto -
http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/business-designtm-examined-at-rotman-mba-business-conference-75850957.html

"Business Design(TM): The New Competitive Weapon......Business design proposes
an integrative model where the solutions to challenging problems are achieved
in a collaborative and cross functional manner......Integrative Thinking and
Business Design are registered trademarks of the Rotman School of Management."

So what happens if we write papers that use these terms? Can we theoretically
be sued or will we/our publishing outlets have to pay royalties to UT?

In a funnier sense, it reminds me of Luck Kellaway of the FT's (sub)alter-ego
from a few years back - Martin Lukes - and his Creovation(tm) trademark -
http://wikibin.org/articles/creovation.html.

Kevin,
Does the trade-mark sign actually mean that the Rotman School at U of Toronto
has trade-marked "integrative thinking" and "business design"?
Thanks,
Lawrence
