About a year ago I took a back way into Burlington Vermont and was surprised
to see rows of large houses lined up in  what was before a hay field.
Definately out of proportion and I couldn't imagine who would want to pay
for and heat such monstrositiies.  As my sister often states when faced with
similar changes in our hometown  "its progess and we are against it".  Vann,
southern NH enjoying some wintry mix after our biggest snow accumulation in
31 years had half melted.
