He probably has not set the details of the map correctly.  The details in
the map must be set up exactly as they are in partner setup to be able to
select this map.  Have him go through and make certian that the details
(i.e. Standards, version, transaction, release) are set correctly in the
map.

I'm working with a partner that has a situation:

He can write an 855 outbound map and register it, but is having problems
enabling the trading partner to use it.  He can't set it up.  He says the
only outbound transaction sets available to use for the partner are 997 and
one other one.  How does Gentran allow a partner to use a transaction?  Is
there some sort of import with Gentran or install for different
transactions?
