Hmmm.. I changed the subject line to reflect the content. Question: If you register with a Data Pool which is not run by GS1, do you have to become a member of GS1? If not, then you could save thousands of dollars. I remember speaking to QRS when GS1 was rolling out their Data Pools, and they said that they would synch any data in their catalog for no added cost...
