I have a client who is running a very old version of Sterling Gentran (the
program with an image of an office and desk, that is clickable). Probably
Director... I don't use any Sterling stuff.

It's on a very old PC.

I suggested that they could buy a new PC running Windows 7, and install Virtual
XP or VirtualBox. They could backup and restore the Sterling PC into the
Virtual PC (running XP) and not have to worry about the PC breaking, etc...

Of course they don't have the original Sterling disks, so that can't
reinstall...

Has anyone tried this?

TIA
