Hmm... It's certainly always nice when everything aligns perfectly and all
we need to do in map is to link from left to right. Unfortunately, this is
rarely a case. So it's been my experience that the map's main purpose is to
align the unaligned. That is, to take whatever your ERP/MRP is giving (with
whatever blemishes) and take your customer's IG and then merry those
together. It's also been my experience that it's always easier for me
effort/process to do so in map, then to try/wait for "making things right"
to happen on either side of the source or final destination.
Anyway, good luck with fixing every 856 file!
