That's a great idea. I resized my xterm window manually so that it would
accommodate the largest resolution I was going to test. (Smaller char
resolutions than the xterm window work of course.)

The escape sequence for this purpose seems to be "standard ANSI".

I'm tacking a patch for this purpose to the series. I might be asked to
introduce a PCD for compatibility reasons...
