I think the feature is pretty much already there: When you want to monitor your TX signal, just go into the Config menu and set the RS232 baud rate to something other than 38400 (which the P3 expects). Transmit, and voila!, your signal is visible. To turn the default behavior back on, just restore the baud rate to 38400 and exit the Config menu. You could even assign a menu command to a PF key to accomplish this. Seems to work here. Is there any problem with doing this? ----- 73, Stan - KR7C -- View this message in context: http://elecraft.365791.n2.nabble.com/K3-P3-To-watch-own-TX-what-lines-need-to-be-disconnected-tp5648858p5652039.html Sent from the [K3] mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
