The P3 will help you find where the DX is listening, will help you find open spots in a crowded band, and will help you identify and trace RF noises in your RX. The P3 is also super useful when monitoring a dead band (like 10M and 6M) for activity. The sub-RX lets you actually LISTEN to the DX pileup, and is useful for diversity reception if you work much 40, 80, and 160M. For general operation and DX chasing, the P3 is more useful. For serious weak signal work on the lower bands, the Sub-RX is quite useful. I also like being able to listen to two 6M frequencies (CW and SSB, or CW and digital) at the same time. 73, Jim K9YC ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
